Eleven were present at the last meeting of the St. Paul Men's Fellowship Group. Criticism led to lively discussion as we looked at "anxiety" in the New Testament. We recalled some of those moments: Mary & Joseph concerned about losing Jesus in the Temple; the storm on the Sea of Galilee causing fear among the disciples, and the seeming abandonment at the Crucifixion. We talked about separation from God and how the Sacrament of Penance offers forgiveness and restitution. If we listen, question and hand over all to God then it leads to sanctification during hard times.
Our next meeting is Wednesday, May 10th when we continue with Chapter 11, Motherly Concern: "They have no wine." (John 2:3) of Gary Zimak's book, Listen to Your Blessed Mother - Mary's Words in Scripture. We meet from 7:30 to 8:30pm in the St. Paul Parish Hall (behind the church at 502 Washington Street in Wellesley). WE WILL MEET IN THE YOUTH ROOM DOWNSTAIRS THIS EVENING.
The Group is opened to the men of the Collaborative. Won't you join us?
