Schedule for Events and Important Meetings 2018 2019


Meeting for First Grade Parents and anyone new to the parish -  September 23rd at 10:15 a.m. immediately following the coffee and donut social in the Parish Hall.  Brief overview of our program and new program for adults. 

First Reconciliation Meeting for First Communion Prep November 4th at 10:15 p.m. and again for your convenience at 4:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall.  Why confession? An important part of our Catholic faith and practice will be discussed.  

Christmas Eve Gospel Reenactment - December 24th at the 6:00 p.m. Family Mass.  Children in grades three and four are invited to help portray the wonderful Christmas story during the Gospel.  

First Reconciliation Service for those preparing for First Communion -  January 25th at 5:00 p.m. in St. Paul church.  

Ash Wednesday Children/Family Service - March 6th at 2:10 p.m. in St. Paul Church.  Ashes will be distributed - all welcome.

First Communion Meeting - March 10th at 10 :15 p.m. and again for your conveninece at 4:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall.  Details about dress, rehearsal times, and general information about the sacrament.

Good Friday Living Way of the CrossApril 19th at noontime. Children in grades three, four, and five are invited to reenact the Stations of the Cross.  This is service is perfect for all ages to attend and to reflect on the meaning of Good Friday.

First Communion Masses - May 4th at 11:00 a.m. and May 5th at 9:00 a.m.

Confirmation - May 10th at 7:00 p.m.

Special Masses – The first Sunday of the month we feature our Teen Choir and invite different grades to participate in the Family Mass @ 9:00a.m. 

Teen Masses – In lieu of class, all Confirmation students are required to attend the Teen Mass; Middle School students are encouraged to attend.   Teen Masses are scheduled every Sunday at 5:00 p.m. and rotate between St.John's and St. Paul's church.

Safety Classes -   During the year we conduct one age appropriate classes on abuse, bullying, and how to keep safe in potentially dangerous situations.  Classes are given in grades 1 – 8 and are announced on the schedule or by email.
